The policeman who was recently captured on camera demanding a “dollar bribe,” from a US-based Nigerian has been arrested.
The officer, who was identified as Corporal Aniyem Chiyem with police number F/No 374171, and attached to the Isheri Division, Lagos State, has been arrested and currently in Police custody. The latest development was according to the Nigerian police headquarters.
DailyPost has gathered that all necessary investigations have been carried out regarding the action of the police and he might be dismissed soon.
The footage, which generated wide condemnations, went viral on the blogsphere last week.
