A Magistrate Court in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, has remanded Blessing Mubula in prison for allegedly bathing her neighbour with hot water.
45 years old Blessing is facing a one count charge of assault and causing body injury to one Confidence Gift at Akwuzu street in Mile One-Diobu area of Port Harcourt on October 11, 2017.
When the matter came up in court , the victim, Confidence Gift narrated that she was bathed with hot water on the corridor of her apartment when she came out to sell garri to a customer.
The trader had been in UPTH and was referred to another hospital for further treatment of her eyes.
The chief magistrate, H.I Osanakpo adjourned the matter till December for continuation of cross examination.
