The Kano State Police Command have confirmed that suspected kidnappers abducted and slaughtered a 10-years-old boy in the state.
Police spokesman in the state, Deputy Superintendent of Police, DSP, Magaji Musa Majia, on Tuesday identified the abducted boy as Musa Salisu.
He said Musa was a primary 6 pupil who was abducted by yet to be identified men around 2.00pm on Monday at Naibawa quarters of the metropolis.
The lad was sent on an errand within the neighbourhood when the assailants abducted him.
Majia also disclosed that two suspects have been arrested in connection with the abduction.
An uncle of the late Musa Salisu, Abubakar Kafinta, was reported as saying, “It was not immediately clear that the boy was abducted until 3 hours on when an unidentified person phoned the family about the unfortunate development.”
