Police arrests Lebanese for allegedly having sex with underage girls in Akure

The Ondo State Police Command has apprehended a Lebanese, simply identified as Jack Sankary for allegedly having sex with under-aged girls in Akure, the state capital.

The suspect was arrested following a tip off from the state Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.

DailyPost gathered that Sankary was found of having canal knowledge of the minors who are mostly in secondary schools.

It was gathered that a woman, also identified as Patience Godwin, 29, who was in contract of recruiting the young girls for the suspect has also been arrested in Akure.

A Source said that when the men of the Command stormed Godwin’s house at Odopetu area of Akure, a 14-year-old girl, who was suspected to be one of her victims was found in the house.

It was further disclosed that Godwin had confessed to the crime.

It was equally gathered that no fewer than 86 under-aged girls allegedly fell to the antics the suspects who had devoured all of them.

Police spokesman, Wole Ogodo, who confirmed the arrest of the suspects said the incident had happened over five months ago.

Ogodo said the suspect, during interrogation said he did not force the girls to be involve in the alleged act.
