Ondo Police parades pastor for kidnapping two-year-old girl

The Ondo State Police Command has paraded a 28 year-old man, Pastor Okpara Emmanuel over alleged abduction of a two year old girl, Blessing Akinfeniwa in Akure, the State Capital.

Emmanuel, who has already confessed to the crime is said to be the Pastor -in-charge of Believer’s Prayer Ministry, located at No 36, Umudagu Road, around Verona Hardel Junction, Orji, Owerri in Imo state.

While defending his action, the suspect accused some of his friends for luring him into the kidnapping business.

His words, “It was my friend that initiated me to the kidnapping business, I’m not a kidnapper, I’m a Pastor, and it was God that called me”.

The Commissioner of Police, Mr. Isaac Eke, while parading the suspect said he was arrested by security operatives in Imo state and later transferred to Ondo State Police command in Akure.

He added that items recovered from the suspected kidnapper includes, socks of the kidnapped girl, her pair of canvass and about 15 sim cards with 8 assorted types of phones.

Also, the Command paraded about 30 people for allegedly committing different crimes in the state.
