A 21- year-old Okada rider, Akinyemi Gbenga was on Monday remanded by an Ikeja Magistrate Court, for allegedly using a toy gun to dispose his victim of cash and property valued at N48,000.

The defendant was arraigned before Magistrate O. Sule- Hamzat, on a two-count charge of conspiracy and armed robbery.

The police prosecutor, Inspector Roman Unuigbe, told the court that the defendant committed the said offence on January 24, 2013, at Charity Bus Stop, Oshodi, at about 5a.m.

He said the defendant, who is an ‘area boy’, along with others now at large, attacked one Juliet Ibekeme.
