Nigeria Immigration arrests 110 illegal immigrants in Enugu

The Nigerian Immigration Service, on Tuesday, arrested 110 illegal immigrants in Enugu State.

Deputy comptroller of immigration, Mr. Felix Odika who disclosed this to journalists, said that those arrested would be repatriated.

Odika who spoke on behalf of the Comptroller of immigration service, Enugu state, Alhaji Ismaila Bashir said among those to be repatriated include 94 Nigeriens, 7 Togolese and 2 Beninoise.

He added that seven others found to be Nigerians were released. According to Odika, the exercise, which would be continuous was to ensure that all illegal immigrants were gotten rid of as directed by the service headquarters.
