The Police have arrested a 25-year-old man for allegedly raping a four-year-old girl to death in Ganye Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
Daily trust reports that the suspect, identified only as Nenekenso, said to be related to the girl’s father, allegedly took the girl for a walk and had canal knowledge of her.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Othman Abubakar, confirmed the incident, saying it was under investigation.
It was gathered that the girl’s mother had once caught the accused inserting his finger in the girl’s private part.
She, however, did not tell her husband but warned the man against further sexual assault on the little girl.
