Staff of Lagos State Signage and Lagos state Advertisement Agency (LASAA) are presently protesting the clampdown on billboards sited on federal roads in Lagos.
Dozens of staff are taking part in the march holding at Ikeja under bridge.
The federal government and Lagos government have been at loggerheads over alleged refusal of advertising agencies to grant the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidates spaces on their signages.
LASAA is accused of warning the agencies and billboard owners against doing so.
However, it is alleged that permissions are easily granted for APC candidates, especially Lagos APC gubernatorial candidates, Akinwunmi Ambode, whose images adorn over 99 per cent of billboards in Lagos.
DAILY POST observes the presence of two police pick-up vehicles with armed personnel keeping watch.
They rally is peaceful as at press time.
