Gunmen abduct top female banker

Several assailants broke into Tinubu Estate Road, Isheri North in Lagos in the on Wednesday, overcame security guards and kidnapped a female banker.

The victim Jumoke Oyegbola, Head of Operations of the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO) and wife of the business director, Verdant Zeal Marketing Communications Ltd was kidnapped when she was returning home from work at about 9:00m.

However, the abductors after the successful operation abandoned her Mitsubishi Montero 2001 Model at the scene and fled with their victim.

While family waits for either text messages or calls from the captors, a senior police officer at the Isheri Police Division said they should be calm and wait: “It may be kidnap case or not. Let us not speculate until 24 hours elapse.
