FG may amend terrorism charges against Kabiru Sokoto

There are indications that the Federal Government may amend the terrorism charges it filed against Kabiru Sokoto, the prime suspect of the Madala’s Catholic Church of December bombing to reflect also crime against humanity.

DailyPost gathered that this was contained in a secret intelligence report.

The decision, it was learnt, was reached after the presidency studied the latest United Nations Rights report against Boko Haram.

Director of Information, Department of State Service, DSS, Marilyn Ogar, said that “for instance, Kabiru Sokoto’s charges of terrorism and murder might no longer be attainable in view of the fact that Boko Haram considerably murdered thousand of innocent Nigerians in the North-East of the country between April this year to May” Kabiru Sokoto, a Boko Haram’s stalwart, co-ordinated attacks in the north-eastern Nigeria of Borno, Yobe and Adamawa before his arrest.
