Three men were on Friday arraigned before a Zuba Upper Area Court for allegedly fingering a lady without her consent.

According to police prosecutor, Mr Kelechi Echendu, the three men, Enoch Adeojo, Hilary Elechi and Ebuka Precious committed the act on Oct. 27 in Dutse Alhaji.

The Police Prosecutor informed the court that the three accused who were bar attendants at a hotel in Dawaki area of Abuja, broke into the residence of the complainant and committed the offence. He further explained that the complainant, who was asleep when the accused broke in, was saved by her neighbours who heard her cry for help.

Echendu said the action of the accused was contrary to the provisions of Section 79 and 284 of the Penal Code.

The accused pleaded not guilty while the police prosecutor asked for an adjournment to enable the court complete investigation on the matter.

The presiding Judge adjourned till November 5th for continuation of hearing. He ordered the accused to be remanded in prison custody.
