Angry pastor stabs wife for refusing to go to church

A 45-year-old pastor identified as Daniel Samuel is currently cooling his heels at the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly stabbing his wife.

The cleric, reportedly attacked his wife because she refused to attend church activities.

Samuel, a pastor with the Apostolic Church, it was gathered, used a cutlass to inflict a deep cut on his wife in Owode-Egba, Ibafemi Owode local government area of Ogun State.

Sources said, trouble started when the 42 -year woman was accused by her pastor husband of giving too much attention to her work than the church activities. Residents disclosed that, shortly after he attacked his wife with a machete, he raised the alarm that, his wife had been attacked by some unknown men ,urging the people to help him take his wife to the hospital. She has since been rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the man is being interrogated by the state Police Command.
