12-year-old boy stabs friend to death for abusing him

A twelve year old primary 6 pupil, Samson Egunje, has been arrested by the Lagos State police command for the cold murder his 10-year old friend.

Samuel Igbekele, 10, met his untimely death on Saturday night.

Samson, who claimed Samuel insulted him in the morning, had been looking for him all day.

He found him that night and stabbed him with a bottle on the neck.

He was rushed to the hospital and was confirmed dead on arrival.

The police PRO, Kenneth Nwosu confirmed the arrest saying, investigations were almost concluded for the matter to be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba. .
