Zidane: Spurs deny Pochettino has buyout clause amid Real Madrid links

Tottenham manager, Mauricio Pochettino, has no buyout clause in his new contract, Sky Sports News reports.

Pochettino has emerged as a favourite to replace Zinedine Zidane as Real Madrid manager, but the club denies there is a verbal agreement for him to be granted permission to discuss a move to LaLiga.

The Argentine signed a new five-year contract just last week, after guiding Spurs to a top-three finish in the Premier League.

He is among the bookmaker’s favourites to succeed Zidane along with former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and current Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte.

However, if Madrid president Florentino Perez decides to appoint Pochettino as his new man in charge, he would have to negotiate his release with Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy.
