Zenith Bank enables Naira Cards for international spending

Foremost Nigerian financial institution, Zenith Bank Plc., has enabled its MasterCard and VISA Naira card range to support international transaction spend of up to US$1,000 monthly.

This development means that all Zenith Bank Naira cardholders can now use their Naira denominated cards to withdraw money from ATMS in over 210 countries (US$300 daily limit) and make POS payments when they travel abroad. The Zenith Naira card can also be used for making payments online.

According to sources, the decision to turn on this card feature was influenced by the transaction needs of the Bank’s customers as the bank is committed to ensuring its customers have access to the global ecommerce market as well to as funds on their travels.

The Zenith Naira card is highly secure as it is protected by Chip and PIN security protocols.
