Zaria bomb blast: NEMA calls for blood donation

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is calling on the public to help donate blood for treatment of the Zaria bomb blast that have been evacuated to the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH) Shika.

Director General of NEMA Alhaji Muhammad Sani Sidi in making the call said the request was urgent to help in the survival of the victims that have lost much blood in the attack.

He appreciated the quick response in the evacuation of the victims and assured immediate supports of NEMA in the deployment of medical consummables and drugs for their treatment in the hospital.

26 lives were lost and 33 injured in the explosion that occurred at the premises of Sabon Gari Local Government Secretariat, Zaria on Tuesday morning.
