Two wives and a son of a lecturer with Zamfara Atate College of Education, Alhaji Suleman Abdullahi, were on Wednesday kidnapped in Gora Namayi Village of Maradun Local Government Area of the state.
It was gathered that the two house wives, Malama Suhaima Abdullahi, and Adiza Abdullahi, were abducted at gun point in the village few minutes after seven vehicles loaded with armed police men left the village.
Confirming the incident, the state commissioner of police, Mr. Kenneth Ebrimson told newsmen that a team of armed police men have been redeployed to the village
He said: “More details will be issued later, out team of armed police men have been redeployed to the village to ensure adequate security of lives.”
