The wedding ceremony of President Muhammadu Buhari’s daughter, Zahra is ongoing at the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.
The wedding Fatiha took place after the Deputy Chief Imam of the National Mosque, Sheikh Ibrahim Makari, performed the two Jumma’at Prayers in Abuja.
DAILY POST gathered that a representative of the groom (Indimi’s) family paid 12 gold coins which was converted and valued at N250, 000 as the amount for the dowry as the Sarkin Fulanin Daura, Alhaji Yusuf Sani, gave out Zahra on behalf of the family of the President.
Dignitaries and high profile citizens of the country including Governors Gov. Umaru Almakura, Rauf Aregbesola, Nasir El-rufai, former Lagos State Gov. Bola Tinubu, former Vice President Namadi Sambo, Senate President Bukola Saraki, Chief Bisi Akande, Governors Yahaya Bello and Aminu Masari, among others were in attendance.
