There are various steps which should be taken into consideration when an individual plans on becoming a successful entrepreneur. A number of such steps were highlighted to those who were present at the business and youth empowerment seminar hosted by the Huncho Foundation, spearheaded by the founder, Mr. Zachary Aiji Audu.
The seminar aimed at encouraging established students/youths entrepreneurs in the Turkish Republic Of Northern Cyprus was targeted at giving them an avenue to share their success stories ,advertise their businesses and also empower undergraduates to face the Nigerian market outside school.
This was a smashing success as the event witnessed a number of eager, inexperienced, established and successful entrepreneurs who had quite a number of stories to share and advice to give.
However, the highlight of the event was the speech delivered by the guest speakers; Mr Oluwatoyin Abidemi, a graduate of the Girne American University and a successful business planner/entrepreneur, Mr Mustapha, a student of Eastern Mediterranean University and the founder of Huncho Foundation, Mr Zachary AijiAudu, who is also a student of Eastern Mediterranean University.
In their speeches, they disclosed tips they applied to their lives on their journey to becoming successful business men. A number of such tips included consistency, writing down plans, making the right connections, linking creativity and innovation to a business objective, learning from mistakes, building a strong social media presence and spending time wisely.
After the speech was being delivered, questions were directed to the speakers and the speakers answered all questions directed to them to the satisfaction of the audience.
The seminar ended with the lecture on profitable sectors to invest in Nigeria delivered by Mr Zachary Aiji Audu. The lecture highlighted sectors such as; agriculture with breakdown in poultry farming and rice farming, real estate, integrated marketing, communications, trade commodities and cryptocurrency.
It was recorded that more than 150 students from different universities in Cyprus attended the seminar which was supported by the Eastern Mediterranean university.
In response to the high demand by the youth in Nigeria, Mr Zachary Aiji .A. plans on having one of such seminars for Nigerian youths so they can have access to insights on how to explore their options and become successful.
