The Hotel Owners Forum, Abuja (HOFA), has reduced room rates and other services by 50 per cent to encourage patronage for the yuletide.
The President of the forum, Dr Bola Onigbogi, made the package known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Wednesday.
She said that members of the forum, including five star hotels in the Federal Capital Territory, have arranged special packages for residents, visitors and tourists during the yuletide.
Onigbogi said: “HOFA has fantastic packages for Abuja residents, visitors and tourists during this festive season; our member hotels have already granted 50 per cent discount on the accommodation tariff.
“Prospective customers should check the websites of various hotels in Abuja for information and rates.
“Abuja residents and visitors to the city should seize this golden opportunity to enjoy themselves,’’ she said.
Onigbogi, who is the first female president of HOFA, also said that buffet would be served at a reduced rate.
“This is to ensure a total enjoyment package for our customers.
“I call on Nigerians not to drink and drive, enjoy themselves and be careful in all they do during the yuletide,’’ Onigbogi said. (NAN)
