Youths declare support for Ondo APC

Ahead of the November 26 governorship election in Ondo State, a youth group, Ondo Progressive Congress has declared its support for the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state.

Chairman of the group, Comrade Leo – Olagbade Adeniran, who led hundreds of youths to the APC State secretariat, said the group decided to support APC because of its record for internal democracy.

He said the group will ensure that APC is ushered into victory in the November 26 poll.

Aragbaye however stated that youths must desist from allowing politicians use them for thuggery and other violent activities.

He said Nigerian youths must come together and uphold the integrity in intelligence and brilliance.

Aragbaye said it is time for youths to take their place among the highly placed people, saying youth inclusion in governance is very crucial.

Welcoming the youths, the APC Chairman, represented by the state secretary, Mr. Rahman Rotimi said the youths must come together and ensure that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is driven out of the state.

He said the APC is committed to providing better life for youths and the entire people of Ondo State.

A governorship aspirant, who was at the event, Mr. Tunji Light Ariyomo, assured the youths that the party will hold free and fair primary election.

He said the best among them will emerge and fly the flag of the party.
