Your leaders are responsible for your neglect – Urhobo group tells IPOB, MOSSOB

A group known as the Urhobo Progressive Union, UPU, has charged members of the, Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB and the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MOSSOB to hold their leaders responsible for the marginalisation of the South-Eastern part of Nigeria.

The group publicity Secretary, Alhaji Mumakai-Unagha said this on Thursday while addressing a cross session of Ohanezi Ndigbo youths from various parts of Delta State.

Mumakai-Unagha, while lamenting the spate of protest in parts of the south eastern states, called on IPOB and MOSSOB to hold their leaders accountable rather than blaming other regions for being responsible for their socio-political and economic marginalisation.

He stated that south east problem resulted from the selfishness of South- East leaders and equally the reason for the backwardness of the zone, adding that they sacrificed the interest of the people on the altar of greed.

Unuagha further described the protest as a wasteful venture sponsored to distract the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
