Former Minister of Education and leader of the Bring Back Our Girls, BBOG, advocacy group, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili has told the Minister of Women Affairs, Hajia Aisha Alhassan, that she has not being fair to the group and parents of the abducted Chibok schoolgirls.

This was after the minister faulted the parents and members of the group for not giving government prior notice on their Thursday’s march to the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Ezekwesili responded by telling the minister, who was sent by President Muhammadu Buhari to receive them that she has been very unfair to them.

She said, “I don’t understand why you can be chiding the parents and the movement. These parents were triggered by the words of the president who promised to rescue their daughters.”

The group and the parents had earlier refused to leave when they were told that President Buhari would not meet with them. They insisted on seeing the president, who had promised, on July 8, to rescue the abducted schoolgirls.
