The Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has approved the appointment of Abdullahi Yusuf Gashua as his new Chief of Staff.
The appointment is contained in a press statement issued Tuesday by Press Secretary to Acting Secretary to the State Government, Abdullahi Shuaibu.
“His Excellency the executive governor of Yobe State Alhaji Mai Mala Buni has approved the appointment of Alh. Abdullahi Yusuf Gashua as Chief of Staff.
“Until his new appointment Alhaji Abdullahi Yusuf Gashua was the Director of Administration, All Progressive Congress (APC) Headquarters,” the statement read.
According to the press secretary, the appointment takes immediate effect.
