The Kaduna State Governor, Ramalan Yero has issued a warning to the All Progressives Congress, APC, to desist from violence as there will be repercussions should there be violence in next month’s general coming election.

The Governor made this warning known on Saturday during the inauguration of President Jonathan-Sambo state campaign committee in Kaduna, where he warned the APC to stay clear of violence or face prosecution.

Yero affirmed that no one had the monopoly of violence. He further added that PDP will respond if APC goes violent before, during and after the next month elections.

“Nobody should be scared of anybody because the way some members of the opposition have the power to fight, members of PDP also have the same power,” he noted.

PDP supporters were urged by the Governor to remain peaceful and law abiding during the period both at the state and the federal levels.

Mr Yero, insisted that PDP has no alternative when it comes to transformation agenda which is evident in the nation’s Economy, Agriculture, Power, Education and human resource development.

It will be recalled that on Saturday, the Vice President, Namadi Sambo was booed in Zaria at the 40th anniversary of the Emir of Zazzau, Shehu Idris.

The Vice President got to the venue of the ceremony late, but was booed by some angry youth who were shouting “Ba Maso” meaning “we don’t want”.
