Granit Xhaka is close to completing his move from Borussia Mochengladbach to Arsenal after he arrived in London for his medicals.
Both clubs have finally agreed on a deal reported to be around £30m for the Switzerland midfielder.
The 23-year-old then flew to London to discuss personal terms with the Gunners and undergo medical tests. He is expected to team up with his national team afterwards, as they continue to prepare for the European Championship next month.
Xhaka will become Arsene Wenger’s first signing in what is expected to be a busy summer.
