Trabzonspor and Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi, has warned that the Super Eagles has not won the Group B’s sole ticket for the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup yet.

The former Lazio midfielder helped the Nigerian side to maintain their leadership of Group B of the African qualifying series with six points after defeating the Greens of Algeria 3-1 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium Uyo last weekend.

Chelsea midfielder, John Mikel Obi and winger Victor Moses were on target for the Eagles, while former Tottenham Hotspur player Nabil Bentaleb scored the visitors’ only goal.

Onazi thanked the Nigerian fans for their support and noted that there are more works to to be done before getting to Russia.

He said, “Thanks to all our great fans, God bless you all, we keep praying as we still have a long way to go in the campaign.”
