Former Nigeria international, Samson Siasia, has mocked Argentina captain Lionel Messi, after his country was eliminated from the 2018 World Cup.
Messi and his team-mates bowed out on Saturday, following a 4-3 defeat to France in their round of 16 tie.
It was Paris Saint-Germain forward, Kylian Mbappe, who stole the show with two goals and also won the opening penalty that Antoine Griezmann stuck away.
Siasia was not impressed with Messi, despite his two assists in the match.
“He has not been spectacular for me. He only played well against Nigeria.
“In this tournament, I will score him below average. Though he is an inspiration for his team but that was not enough to make him go far in this World Cup,” Siasia said on Super Sport.
