Former Super Eagles captain, Austin Okocha has backed Liverpool star, Sadio Mane to lead Senegal to victory when they take on Poland in their 2018 World Cup opening Group H game at Spartak Stadium in Moscow on Tuesday evening.
Speaking on SuperSport, Okocha, who represented Nigeria at the 1994, 1998 and 2002 World Cup, said; “I expect Mane to do what he has been doing in Liverpool for Senegal when they face Poland.
“Just like how other big stars; like Ronaldo, Messi has done for their country.
“Although the Argentine captain did not score against Iceland”.
After the game against Poland, Senegal will take on Colombia and Japan later this month.
