Uruguay striker, Luis Suarez, has said that they are not scared of the possibility of facing Spain at the knock-out stage of the 2018 World Cup.
Suarez celebrated his 100th cap for his country, with the winning goal against Saudi Arabia at the Rostov Arena, as they won 1-0 to qualify for the last 16.
They take on hosts Russia next Monday to decide who tops Group A, with Spain or Portugal awaiting in the next round.
“I have always said since arriving here that Uruguay are feeling very confident, we’re really up for it, but sometimes how you play depends on the day.
“It doesn’t matter who we play in the next round, if we want to go as far as possible we have to beat everyone.
“If we are to dream of being world champions we have to beat the best in the world, and Spain are one of the best,” Suarez told reporters.
