Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho has warned Argentina that their second Group D clash in the 2018 World Cup against Croatia at the Nizhniy Novgorod Stadium on Thursday night will be tough.
Mourinho believes the Croats team have what it takes to give the La Albiceleste a difficult game tonight because the Zlatko Dalic’s men have the most talented midfielders in the world.
”’Croatia is a team with some talented, experienced players that play in the best clubs in the world,” Mourinho told RT.
”I don’t think in the past years they had enough evolution for the next generation but they still have a group of players especially in that midfield, players that are the best in the world.
”Argentina is Argentina but I think Croatia has a team capable to give them a difficult match.”
Croatia head into this clash after beating Nigeria 2-0 in their first game last weekend, while Argentina drew 1-1 with Iceland last Saturday.
