England captain, Harry Kane on Tuesday night made history when he scored the first goal for his country against Colombia in the 2018 World Cup round of 16 clash.
The Tottenham Hotspur striker scored from the spot in the 57minutes before Barcelona defender, Yerry Mina levelled for the Blågult in injury time to take the game into extra time.
Kane’s goal against the South Americans means the 24-year-old becomes the first player to convert 3 penalties at a single World Cup tournament since Hristo Stoichkov for Bulgaria in 1994.
The Three Lions eventually beat Colombia 4-3 on penalties to book their place in the quarter-final against Sweden on Saturday.
