“My players are young but they played with a good mentality against a good Belgium,” Deschamps told reporters after the game.

“This is exceptional, I am happy with my players, they are young but they played with a good mentality against a good Belgium.”

Deschamps also emphasized on the work put in by the team in their preparations ahead of the game.

“We have worked a lot in defence and and the attack. I also want to congratulate my players who are going to play this final, many difficult things have happened but if we are in the final it is for those who are in the field of play,” he stated.
