Kayira scored a late equaliser, as the Harambee Stars of Kenya drew 2-2 with Malawi in Blantyre, leaving Nigeria in pole position to qualify from Group F.

The first half ended without any goals, but Ngalande put the hosts ahead one minute after the restart. Mohammed equalised for the Kenyans just six minutes later.

The game was heading to a 1-1 draw, until Ng’ambi and Kayira scored in the last ten minutes. If the Super Eagles of Nigeria win tonight against Namibia, they will automatically make it into the final rounds of qualification, where they will be paired against another group winner.
