The Trade Union Congress, TUC, has cautioned the Ondo state government not to divert the money accrued to it from the federal government’s bailout to capital projects.

The union therefore called on the state government to spend the money for its primary purpose of unpaid accumulated salaries of workers.

The state TUC chairman, comrade Sola Ekundayo told journalists in Akure that government should spend the bailout to ameliorate the sufferings of the state workforce to guarantee industrial harmony.

Also, the state TUC Secretary, Comrade Fatuase Clement, urged public servants to remain steadfast as organized labour unions were monitoring the state government’s account to ensure the bailout was not diverted.
