Aaron Ramsey has said that his second goal against Galatasaray on Tuesday night, is not the best he has scored in his career.
The Welshman had set up the opening goal for Lukas Podolski, before getting his first with a composed finish.
Ramsey scored again before the break, with a magnificent volley from over 30 yards to put his side in firm control of the Champions League group tie.
“The ball came to the edge of the box and I thought ‘why not have a go’ and thankfully it’s gone in,” he told Sky Sports.
“[Was that your best ever goal?] It’s up there. I like the Norwich goal.
“I just felt a bit of a tight hamstring and hopefully now I’ll recover for the game against Newcastle. [Nothing serious?] No.
“We looked dangerous every time we went forward tonight, which was pleasing, and we scored a few goals, which is always nice. We took full advantage of the opportunities.”
