Nigeria have been drawn alongside two-time champions USA, Australia and Sweden, in the Group D of the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Secretary General of FIFA Jérôme Valcke, conducted the draws and was assisted by Tatjana Haenni, FIFA Deputy Director of the Competitions Division and Head of Women’s Football.
Group A has hosts Canada, China PR, New Zealand and Holland, while another Africa representative Cote d’Ivoire is in Group B with Germany, Norway and Thailand.
Nigeria’s first game will be against Sweden on June 8, 2015 in Winnipeg.
