One of Britain’s most wanted people; a British female terrorist suspect, popularly known as ‘White Widow’ has been reportedly killed in Ukraine.

DailyPost recalls that the same woman has been ‘fingered’ for being responsible for one of the bomb attacks in Abuja, the Nigeria’s capital.

Regnum News Agency in Moscow, reports that Samantha Lewthwaite, 30, was killed by a Russian sniper two weeks ago.

The agency reports that ‘’One of the world’s most wanted terrorists, Samantha Lewthwaite who fought as part of a Ukrainian battalion has been killed by a volunteer sniper.

‘’According to our information, the White Widow fought on the side of Ukrainian volunteer battalion Aidar as a sniper. She was killed by ‘a volunteer sniper who came to fight at the Lugansk front from Russia. The Russian sniper who killed the British terrorist now has a price of nearly one million dollars on his head from Ukrainian special services.’’

However, a contrary report by DailyMail, noted that the unconfirmed claim could be another propaganda from Moscow and Kiev over the Ukrainian crisis. The paper reports that there are suspicions that the claim that Lewthwaite is dead could be an attempt by Russia to strengthen its anti-terrorism claim at a time when it is allegedly invading Ukrain with armour and troops.

Reports have however claimed that, Lewthwaite – a former soldier’s daughter – joined Islamic State earlier this year and has been seen as one of the most powerful women in the network. Other details show that she was born in Northern Ireland and schooled in Aylesbury.
