Woman nabbed with dead baby in Lagos [PHOTOS]

The social media went agog on Monday after reports of a certain old woman caught with a dead baby, made the rounds.

A Facebook user, Kadiri Ismaila, who shared the photos, said the old woman was spotted with an alleged kidnapped dead baby in the Oshodi area of Lagos state at the weekend.

She was apprehended by an irate mob and tortured and made to walk around with the dead baby strapped to her back.

Investigations by DAILY POST further revealed that the yet-to-be named woman, believed to be a ritualist confessed to have kidnapped the baby alive. It was, however, not ascertained how the baby died.

When contacted, the state police spokesperson, SP Dolapo Badmus was not available as at press time but our correspondent gathered that the suspect was handed over to officers attached to the Oshodi police division.
