Wike sacks Rivers State Revenue boss


The Rivers state Governor has sacked the Chairman of the Rivers State Internal Revenue Board, Onene Oshila-Obele Oshoko.

No reason was given for her sack.

The sack of the RIRS boss is contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Kenneth Kobani, which also stated that the directive was with immediate effect.

Osila-Obele Oshoko has been directed to handover all responsibilities to the Permanent Secretary in the state Ministry of Finance.

Governor Wike in the statement also approved the appointment of the former governroship candidate of the PDP in the state, Nimi Walson-Jack as the Executive Director of Public Private Partnership, PPP.
