Rivers State governorship aspirant, Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, Thursday, submitted his nomination form at the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, national secretariat, Abuja.

He made the submission to the National Organising Secretary, Alhaji Abubakar Mustapha.

Clad in a blue native attire, Wike said he was looking forward to the party’s primary holding in just three weeks from now.

Speaking to DailyPost, Director of Media, Nyesom Wike Campaign Organisation, Mr. Emma Okah assured that his principal would emerge as PDP guber candidate in the oil-rich state.

“It is true Barrister Wike submitted his form today and we are leaving immediately for Port Harcourt”, he said Thursday night.

“We are all excited and have our eyes set on the primary.”

Asked the next line of action, Okah disclosed that the former minister would continue his tour of local governments in the state.

His words: “His visitation to local councils continues because that is where the delegates are. And as you know, they hold the ace to victory.

“So, we will continue to intimate them of our agenda for the state and why Barrister Wike is the best candidate for the PDP. He stands out as a man of the people and an individual admired across board.

“We are confident that with the endorsements, support and passion we are receiving and witnessing, Barrister Wike will emerge victorious at the November 29 primaries”.
