Wike listens to Rivers people – Obuah

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Rivers State, Chief Felix Obuah, on Tuesday asserted that the leadership of the state listens to the people.

Obuah made the remark at the party’s secretariat, when an aspirant for the role of the National Chairman of the party, Chief Raymond Dokpesi, and his team visited the state as part of his campaign tour.

Praising the State Governor, Nyesome Wike for policies which have restored the glory of the state, Obuah said, “Democracy is practice at its fullness in Rivers state. We have respect for constituted authority. The leaders listen to the followers and the followers listen to the leaders.

“I am almost tempted by your credentials to say why are you bothering yourself coming to us because we are your sons.

Obuah also described Dokpesi as a first class candidate among those seeking the national chairmanship position of the party.

“You are a first class candidate. Your name rings A bell in the heart of everybody because of your credentials. With your establishment, you gave a voice to the masses. You are a supporter of the youths and a champion of democracy,” Obuah said.”
