Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has fired the State Accountant General, Ngozi Y. Abu.
To replace the sacked AG is the Director of Treasury, Sir Dagogo R. Abere, who has now been appointed on acting capacity.
Simeon Nwakaudu, Special Assistant (Media) to the Rivers State Governor said the appointment takes immediate effect.
