Wike appoints Professor Didia as new VC for State University

Professor Blessing Didia has been named as Acting Vice-Chancellor of the Rivers State University of Science and Technology.

Similarly, Professor Boma Oruwari is the Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University.

Both appointments were announced in a statement released by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Opunabo Inko-Tariah.

The statement noted that both appointments by Governor Nyesom Wike followed the expiration of the tenure of Professor Barineme Fakae as Vice -Chancellor of the university with effect from 31st July, 2015.
