Wife of Ogun state lawmaker and friend abducted in Ogun State

Wife of a member of Ogun State House of Assembly representing Ijebu North East state Constituency,Hon. Samson Onademuren was on Wednesday abducted by unidentified gunmen in Ijebu Ode, Ogun state.

DailyPost gathered that Mrs Onademuren and her close female friend were kidnapped from her husband’s building site along Lewu Street, Obalende, Ijebu-Ode, around 12noon by four hefty unidentified armed men.

A source reported that Mrs Onademuren and her friend were whisked away in a white unregistered Opel car.

Ogun state Police Force Spokesperson, ASP. Muyiwa Adejobi, in a statement sent to newsmen in Abeokuta, said the command is investigating the incident seriously.

“The CP Okoye was at the scene to strategise on her rescue. We urge the Public to assist in giving the police useful information that will lead to her rescue as soon as possible,” he said.
