Wife, daughter and driver of Supreme Court Justice Rhodes-Vivour kidnapped in Edo

Gunmen, on Friday night took hostage of the wife, daughter and driver of a Supreme Court Justice, Bode Rhodes-Vivour in Benin, the Edo State capital.

All three were forcefully whisked away at gunpoint, while they were en route Benin, in preparation for Justice Vivour daughter’s wedding.

As at press time, the kidnappers are yet to establish contact with the family, while the state Police Command is yet to make an official statement on the incident.

In recent months, cases of abduction has been on the increase in the oil rich South-south region.
