Why Wenger will sit with Chelsea fans at Stamford Bridge this weekend

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, may be forced to sit with Chelsea fans, during their Premier League fixture at Stamford Bridge this Saturday.

Wenger will be serving the third of a four-match touchline ban this weekend, for pushing fourth official Anthony Taylor and using abusive language towards officials in their 2-1 win over Burnley last month.

He cannot sit in the directors’ box, because it is on the other side of the ground to the dressing rooms.

The Gunners boss is still allowed to speak to his players before the match and at half time.

It is likely that Wenger will sit in the middle tier of the East Stand.

Arsenal will reportedly bring their own security after lengthy discussions between the clubs.

Wenger’s men are looking to cut into Chelsea’s nine-point lead at the top of the table, when they visit their rivals in a keenly anticipated London Derby.
