Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has not signed a new deal with Arsenal, because he is ambitious and desperate to push himself, so he can realize his full potential, MirrorSport reports.
The England winger insists his contract stand-off is nothing to do with money.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is ready to quit Arsenal this summer, as he has only one year left on his contract and has turned down two offers from the Gunners.
The player has a lot of respect for manager Arsene Wenger and the fans, but believes his future could lie elsewhere. Liverpool are keen, while Chelsea are also watching developments.
Wenger has held face-to-face talks with him during the club’s pre-season tour of Australia and China and Oxlade-Chamberlain admitted he has been left frustrated at Arsenal because of injuries and not being in the team.
