Why Nigerians should believe what Aisha Buhari said about APC, primary elections – Omokri

Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has reacted to a statement by Aisha Buhari, wife of President Muhammadu Buhari criticizing the primary elections conducted by the All Progressives Congress, APC, in some states.
Aisha had on Sunday expressed disappointment over the processes employed during the elections. She called on Nigerians to speak out against what she tagged as ‘impunity’ employed by the ruling party’s leadership.
Her comments stirred mixed reactions from Nigerians as some applauded her for speaking out, while others accused her of criticizing the process because her brother lost the APC Adamawa State governorship primary.
Reacting to Aisha’s statement, Omokri, a stark critic of the Buhari administration questioned why Nigerians should believe in APC when the wife to the President does not.
He, therefore, stated that the PDP was a better option for Nigerians in 2019, adding that nobody knows Buhari and APC more than Aisha.
Omokri wrote: “If Aisha Buhari, Buhari’s wife does not believe in APC and rejected their primaries, then why should Nigerians believe in the APC or accept their primaries?
“Can anybody know Buhari and APC more than the First Lady? PDP is a better option.”
Comments
